Ok. I cheated. Feel kinda bad about that. Yeah, right. The parts of my most current post in the story that are in italics were previously written, (years ago), and are excerpts from posts I made in the Zena Scrolls Chapters One and Two. I figured Phalon had a history, why not use it?
Scrappy mentioned earlier getting wordy in her old age. HA! Just wait until you're my age, Scrappy. You'll still be wordy, but be lazy as well. Now, don't roll your eyes. You're not that far off, you know.

At least I'll still have the two eyes to do it with......HAHAHA. (please refer to previous discussion of one eyed porch sitting)

Must have missed the previous discussion of 'one-eyed porch sitting'... Do tell... You may have noticed I'm back ...am in panto hell so please excuse infrequent posts. At least I'm up on the story now! Good writing people, very engaging. Scrappy...you sure do slice off someone's head real good! By the way...I'm beginning to think that Dixie might have a little crush on Scrappy...in the story...

So let's catch our collective breath and see where things stand... Scrappy was attacked by the same evil that killed her parents. Guru thinks he saved Scrappy by shooting the same evil that killed his wife -- not knowing Phalon was saving Scrappy. Dixie thinks Guru shot Scrappy, and she's having more reasons to take offense at his actions. Freebird just had a vision warning her of more evil while directing her into the path of more danger. Joxcee is probably reconsidering any belief she may have had about a unity of purpose between Scrappy and Guru, and she desperately wants to relocate ... but all the action is between her and the door. And Phalon is in the mood to lay the smack down! Combustible elements, anyone?

Freebird, Joxie, Scrappy, and Guru. Almost a full house logged in tonight. And me, Phalon, of course...but then again, I'm not all here, am I? Or she's not. Probably neither.

Take a deep breath, Phalon...
Just had to pop back in to say, my damn storm door just flung open, nearly ripping itself off the hinges, then slammed shut with a vengeance. Scared the heck outta me. Sheesh. I think I've been participating in too many ghost stories of late.
<leaves again, repeating to herself, "it's only the wind, it's only the wind...>

BOLL. Anyone notice the advertisements that appear at the top of the last page of the story? All the blood, guts, pain and heartache included in the last few posts, and the advertisements all involve remedies for severe ailments.

Darn it, for some reason that old Blondie song keeps running through my head.
Oh Joxie...the way I see it, you've got two choices. Either accompany Guru and Freebird to the cottage, or follow us to, I'm thinking, the Liscary. (Psst. I'd think you'd be safer there...maybe not, though?)
Oh, and if you choose the Liscary...bring food - Phalon's starving, and didn't get a chance to grab any on the way out.

Mea culpa. Yep, I made a mix-up. Just couldn't resist that one extra edit to my post, could I? Now it's late, and I humbly ask you to read #109 before #108.
Since I have been a good boy all year, maybe the gods of the Internet will smile upon my wretchedness and fix the mess I've created.
Maybe?
Please?

Freebird can post her post again, making it "Reply #110", and then delete "Reply #108". Otherwise I can delete them both and either put them in one post in the order they are supposed to go, or Freebird can wait for Guru to repost before reposting herself.
Make sense?

Hey Whoosher House Bards. A quick note just in case my computer finally blows, or I throw it out the window in frustration and don't make it back here for a while....please feel free to do with whatever you wish with my character. Phalon's flexible, and will go whereever, and do almost anything. No high places though - she's afraid of heights and will probably freak.
Later - I hope.

Thanks, Scrappy. Hhhmmm....what does Phalon want for Christmas?
A road map with the trail clearly marked back to Ancient Greece.
Food for the trip.
And a pot-ridge in a pear tree.
She's been good, I swear. And that has nothing to do with the pot cauldron the kettle back. Oh where, oh where, has her little pot gone?

Hey, look at the quote I ran across, and thought fitting for Phalon in this story. I stuck it under my avatar, as my nifty banner that Red made gets top billing.
Shhh....I've got to be quiet in here. Zena thinks my computer problems have stemmed from leaving home and entering the "House". Something about possession.
Oh...er...hello Zena. Yes, yes,...uhm...I promise to get Phalon out of bed and moving soon.
