I _had_ intended to create a poll to see how many are tired of the negative effect and would like to see it go. I think I know how to edit that part out of the code so that this forum will look like the others on IE. I use firefox, so I haven't seen the negative effect in ages. But if this board is to be archived, I'm gonna leave it as is.

Jox, can you leave it for a while. I've got a couple of ideas I want to try out.

Yeppers. I'd _love_ to leave it open a while longer. I did ... do intend to add something soon, I just get stuck on the _thinking_ stage and get lost in thought. Yeah, I'm addicted on thinking.

I thought I was addicted to thinking, but after a thoroughly good think on that thought, I think I'm not.
Why does my head hurt?

I certainly vote to leave it open! It might be a nice reprieve for some of the characters to escape to from the other story. Or not - is anything in the house "nice"? The curtains maybe. But since they inexplicably left the house, wouldn't it be possible for them to just suddenly appear again?
Did anyone think to leave the refrigerator running, and fully stocked?
The House as a breathing entity never dies; it just lives on, and on, and on, and on.....
Oh...and I kinda like the negative effect too. Losing it here would be like losing an old friend.....or a demonic enemy.

I use Firefox too, but I did look at it once or twice in IE. I thought it looked good but was a bit hard on the eyes for sustained reading, my eyes anyway!
I couldn't find anything in the fridge. Lol. Which makes me think, when was the last time Jason eat something? I'll have to look that up.

I think that is the longest post I've ever posted. I jotted most of it down just now, and I haven't proofread it yet. I'll have to do that later, gotta hit the hay now. I just wanted to get it out there, as I didn't want to put it off any longer. Otherwise who knows when I'd get around to it. I hope it makes sense.
Night all.

Nice one Joxie.
I feel a new character emerging.

And so the house has been resurrected. I am loving this turn the story has taken! Joxie, you crack me up - I can't wait to see how this new and less afraid Joxie will react to whatever the house dishes out!
And Moonglum and Vox paired as new characters....and quite interesting sounding ones too!
Anxiously awaiting to see what is encountered next!

Yay! Joxcee isn't alone with Mrs. Peacock. Can't wait to meet the new gang ... and old gang too, perhaps?
And Phalon, Joxcee has her next post in longhand. Hopefully it'll be typed out and added to the thread tonight or tomorrow. And you're in it. Well, kinda, sorta. Hope you get a kick out of it.

Oooh. So, Phalon, was that live? Or Memorex? Were you there on another plane? Or was it just residual imprinting?

BOLL, Joxie! It was a talking telegram, I believe.
Is could actually be kinda fun....I'll have to see if somehow I can work a "boo" into my next post in the other story just to have it float across the centuries, only for the purpose of making you jump.
And btw, I'm glad Joxie looked at Phalon's possible appearance with anticipation instead of dread. Awww, I never knew she cared.

Yeah, I was wondering if you'd work that into the other story. And I think Joxcee would welcome anyone back ... misery loves company and she doesn't want to suffer alone.

Wow! It looks so different in here during the light of day; I've never seen the place in anything other than eerie, glowing moonlight.
I remember Joxie saying the negative effect didn't show up on her browser, and I just had to take a peek now that I switched. The house is completely different, and I never realized there was snow! If anything though, it looks more like I imagined it. With the negative effect, it kinda looks like any other haunted house; without the effect, it fits perfectly in with what I'd pictured in my head.

I had to open IE and refresh my memory. Yeppers, the place looks a lot more cozy in the light of day.
