LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Patricia Arquette won the Emmy Award for best actress in a television drama on Sunday for her portrayal of an investigator who uses her psychic powers to catch criminals in "Medium."
Arquette won U.S. TV's top award over competition that included Mariska Hargitay of NBC crime drama "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit," Glenn Close of "The Shield," Jennifer Garner of ABC's "Alias" and Frances Conroy for HBO's "Six Feet Under."
