Sounds interesting. I might even have a pair of 3D glasses around here somewhere.

Are they the 3D glasses that have one red lens and one blue lens? Or the ones that look like sunglasses? The red/blue glasses won't work with me, I can only see out of one eye. The ones that look like sunglasses work a little bit, but things don't jump out into my face... they do appear to come out of the screen a tad bit so at least I can enjoy it to a small extent.

The ones I probably still have are one red and one blue. The frame is made out of something like card stock, and the lenses are thin plastic that can wrinkle easily. I've never had anything jump out at me while wearing those either, although some two-color drawings have appeared 3D with them on. I've never seen the ones that look like sunglasses. Where did you get the ones you used?

I first saw them years ago when my sister, her then boyfriend, and I went to see a 3D movie. I asked if I could get my money back if they didn't work. The movie was a blur without the glasses, but crystal clear with them on, so I knew they had to be working. I did jump a couple of times when things appeared to be jumping out of the screen. Then a few years ago the family went to Disney world, and they had a 3D mini-movie that used the same type of sunglasses lens. Everyone in the theater kept jumping and my mom asked me why I wasn't jumping... cause everything was jumping into her face, and I told her they weren't getting in my face, but they were coming out of the screen. So I'm at least grateful that they do work with one eye to a certain extent... otherwise I'd be completely left out of the fun.

I'm glad they work, even if just a little bit. I've never gotten the in-my-face effect with even the two colored lenses, but I've only tried it with a 3D movie they showed on TV, and it was probably due to the reception.
