I just watched Lost for the first time this weekend, then another episode tonight. I think Hubs and I may be hooked for awhile. Wishing it came on a bit later though; I miss the first half hour getting the little one bathed and in bed.

Sounds like someone needs to get a new VCR...

Yes, for a long time now. I think Santa has one in his bag with our name on it. Maybe even a VCR/DVD player combo. Oh, it's so fun being behind the times.

I initially had no interest in the show until I started hearing more and more about it. Thankfully ABC ran reruns of the first 5-6 episodes to let us newbies get caught up. I am happy to say I am no longer lost about "Lost".
Last nights episode had a guest star we all should have recognized.
Charles Mesure. Although I have to say, he was no Arch Angel in this episode.

I too didn't get a "good vibe" from the commercials, but I taped the first 4 episodes anyway while I watched Hawaii. (Which aired across from it.) I finally got around to catching up on the episodes before the 5th one aired, and I've been hooked ever since.
After last nights event with Boone, where he encountered his step-sister who wasn't really her, I'm wondering if the french woman really came from the "outside" world or if she's a part of the island. Perhaps even the plane survivors didn't really come from the "outside" world... perhaps they too are a part of the island who "popped" up and are pawns of whoever controls the island. A real case of "people made up in someone's head".

Hey Joxie, I really like your scenario. It has been driving me crazy trying to figure out how they are going to make us believe whatever in the heck is going on.
I guess that is the real hook, isn't it?
I just hope it isn't another Ewing dream and we all wake up and find the plane wrecked on Southfork with Bobby taking a casual shower.

I like this show. But can't watch it every week. Smallville comes on the same time and most of the time, I forget to tape "Lost."
I'm kinda tired of waiting to see who or what's on that Island. I hear the mystery will be revealed soon. I guess other people has said the same thing.

I really love this show and can't wait to see the next new episode. Hurley is by far my favorite character.
