Lost Helps ABC to Total-Viewers Win Wed.
Lost packed 'em in again for ABC on Wednesday but it was slower going for the 10 p.m. debut of the network's midseason drama, Eyes. ABC opened the night on top with Lost (17.6 million, 6.4/18). UPN had a little more oomph than usual in the 8 p.m. hour with a solid showing from America's Next Top Model (5.4 million, 2.5/7), which topped CBS' 60 Minutes Wednesday (9.4 million, 1.9/5) and NBC's American Dreams (6 million, 2.0/6) in the adults 18-49 demo.
For the night, ABC squeaked past Fox for the bragging rights in total viewers (ABC's 12.4 million to Fox's 12.1 million) while Fox had a comfortable margin of victory in adults 18-49 (Fox's 5.4/14 to ABC's 4.7/12).
