MICHAEL, SAWYER AND JIN MUST BRAVE THE OPEN WATER AFTER THEIR RAFT IS DESTROYED, AND LOCKE DESCENDS INTO THE HATCH TO FIND A MISSING CASTAWAY, ON ABC'S "LOST"

"Adrift" - With the abduction of Walt fresh on their minds and their raft destroyed, Michael, Sawyer and Jin fight for their lives and discover a new predator in the roiling ocean. Meanwhile on land, Locke must descend into the hatch when one castaway goes missing inside. Jolene Blalock ("Enterprise") guest stars, on "Lost," WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Lost" stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as the mysterious island man, Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Maggie Grace as Shannon, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie, Terry O'Quinn as Locke, Harold Perrineau as Michael and Michelle Rodriguez as Ana Lucia.

Guest cast TBD.

"Adrift" was written by Steven Maeda & Leonard Dick and directed by Stephen Williams.

"Lost" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.

I loved this episode! Of course, I've loved every episode so far, but that's beside the point. ;D

It was great to see Sawyer in the hero role. He was already heroic when he tried to keep The Others from taking Walt, but it was really something to see him worry about Mike and resuscitate him after pulling him out of the water. So much for his whole I-don't-care-about-anybody-but-myself act. ;D

I was worried about Jin through the whole episode and thought he was dead until the end when Sawyer and Mike made it to shore and found him there. It should have occurred to them immediately that he was captured by The Others, with his hands tied behind his back and running like he was, since that was the first thing that occurred to me.

So now we have another number to add to the list, or at least I think we do. Just what is the significance of 108? I swear it looks like a question on one of those Mensa tests where you have to figure out the missing number in the sequence. But there is no pattern that I can find, and I'm pretty good at those types of questions.

I'm not so sure the people are 'the others' ... I'm wondering if they could also be passengers from the plane. Perhaps they think Jin is with 'the others.' Then again I could be wrong. Perhaps we will get a chance to learn about 'the others' and Michael will get a chance to get Walt back.

[Lesa]

But the French woman said that The Others were coming for the boy.

Maybe The Others and the other survivors of flight 815 are one in the same. It would be nice if I could remember everything she has said about The Others.

[Joxcenia]

The 'others' stole the french woman's baby years before the plane crash, so they can't be the same people. I don't think... but you never know with this show.

[Lesa]

What if time really has no meaning on the island? Everything could run its course and then they could all be returned to whence they came with all of that experience and not a day older, or they could even be returned to the past to do things they would liked to have done differently.

[Joxcenia]

Okay... like I needed more ideas to toss about the empty skull.

[Lesa]

 
Glad I could give you more to ponder.

After reading the preview for October 5th's episode, it looks like Sawyer, Michael and Jin are questioning the same thing as you are about who these new people are.

[Joxcenia]

I'm gonna have to stop giving this stuff away for free... It's time I get paid for sharing these ideas.

[Lesa]

Maybe you should write a TV show.

[Joxcenia]

Don't think I haven't thought of that.

[Lesa]

I'm sure you've thought of it plenty of times. Now it's time to do! ;D
