And none of this would work, of course, if not for the Three Lovelies helping me. I am just the middle-man and the messenger. They are the ones doing all the work behind the scenes tirelessly, taping their fingers to the bone, all the while their feet are aching from wearing those curly, pointed toed elfin shoes. Elfin Joxie answers my "how do I do this" questions without rolling her eyes, (too much anyway - I'm sure there's at least a little bit of eye-rolling involved, especially since she's been answering the same types of questions from me for the last seven years). She's got the patience of a Fairly Bored Mom. I restocked your wand dust, Fairly Bored Mom - I know it was running low after this. Deputy Elfin Poppet, Chief Elf the last three years. Her work goes much further than decorating a lovely tree each year, and wrapping presents. Her pm box gets a work-out too. "The link doesn't work." "It works for me; try this." "Nope; still nothing." "Ack! Do something!" Somehow, she always manages to find a way, and gets it all done and back to me on time, (I'm not going to even pretend there's no eye-rolling....I know Scrappy, and I'm sure a fair amount of it is involved). Luv ya, Poppet. And new to our Elf Crew this year is Tommygurl, the provider of Christmas tunage, decorations and hazardous to her health clean-up detail...this place has never looked so good! Oh, and lentils....Christmas would not be Christmas without Christmas lentils. (eye-roll) Just kidding, TG. Big, big hugs to you. Here's a gift for each of you. You can't click on them to reveal what's inside; I don't know how to do the technical stuff. You have to decide what's inside yourselves. Whatever you wish is what the boxes contain. You know that's what I'd give you, if I could.

Check it out, Joxie. It's worth the wait!
Indeed ... it was worth the wait. <heavy sigh> I wish I could illustrate my own works.

Sneakining in to drop off one last gift for Siren. What better way to show off the new outfit and the new bling than by going out! A weeks stay in the best suite. Two courtside tickets. Plus passes to the after game shin-digs to meet the players and coaches! Merry Christmas!

I'm sending your presents back to your pm boxes, all wrapped and ready to go, so you can post them yourselves, if you wish to do so. My PM box is full of emptiness Lady P ............ ahhhhh you knew I'd make a pigs ear of it and end up having to ask you to send it anyway didn't ya. *sigh*

Wow I'm not gonna get out of the house for at least a month, what with the reading material, the CD and now the fantastic boxed set of DVD's. So now it's revealed who was lurking under that flowing white beard; thanks very much Jox aka MM, wonderful gifts and very much appreciated.

Oh and yeah, surprised myself by managing that task, I'd give myself a pat on the back if my arms were long enough.

Thanks, Tommygurl. Yep there is lots of love hanging around in this place.

Yes, we are house bound. Multiple accidents around here - one involving 100 cars. Roads are closed, and the police have issued warnings that travel is to be for emergency purposes only. It's dangerous out there - not just driving, but even being outside for more than a few minutes. It's about 7 degrees Fahrenheit, and with a fierce, fierce wind, I'm sure it feels much colder.
Just kidding about the "even you" comment you know. Somebody recently described my commuter operating abilities in that way. <pat, pat> See there. I've just patted you on the back for a job well done.

Thanks Lady P, and don't worry "even you" describes my abilities, or lack thereof, with a computer to a T. Sounds bad weather wise, indoors sounds like the best [ only ] place to be, bit different to here with the temperature heading toward the mid nineties.

Mid-nineties? Wow, that's hot. Maybe we can meet somewhere in-between - how's the high sixties sound? See you there later, Katina. I've got to run now. Enjoy your day!

Joxie, may or may not have electricity issues due to the storm. For Christmas, Joxie, I'm waving my elfin wand, (heck, I only have it a few days out of the year; I might as well put it to good use), and giving you an endless supply of electricity, so you can have your Internet, and your brother-in-law can keep safe by not trying to get it back for you.
Phalon: Thank you for the electricity, and for refilling my wand.
Go West: Go East: Stay Close To Home:
No choice involved ... all three are yours to take whenever you have the time. And no expiration dates either.

An hour with my boy, Roy!!!! Thanks, Tommygurl. Yep there is lots of love hanging around in this place. I am just the messenger, Phalon. Someone else wanted to make sure you knew how much all your hard work is appreciated! Not that I don't love you, too...just don't want to steal someone else's props.

Oh, Joxie! Cross-country skiing in the Rockies, Vermont, and Higgins Lake....how totally perfect! Thanks! Funny...that last link - Cross Country Ski Headquarters - is the place where I ordered my roller-skis. Reminds me I've been meaning to Fed-Ex them there to have them serviced this winter. Now I can do it in person!
Still....an hour with my boy, Roy! Thanks, whoever you may be!

Before I run off skiing, and then on to my after-ski much needed massage, I've still got more in the bag. This one is for Scrappy: For your next cross-country jaunt, an iphone complete with GPS: Merry Christmas, Lil Scrappy, from Siren! Edited to fix wrapping link. ~Mini-Mia

Pfft. OK, lemme get this straight. I not only have my elfin duties backed up with two days worth of gift-wrappings and trappings and such to clean up...but now, I have been hit with a snowball and a ratty fruitcake?!? All at the same time?! I must've really been bad. This has to do with the "bored" police comment, doesn't it?? OK, I can hang...(besides just onto the ceiling fan). At least this way, I'm getting it over with quickly and all at once. First things first, tho. Time to clean up. It looks like everyone got lots of goodies with lots of pretty packaging and fancy bows and ribbons...good thing I got Santa recycling this year. Now all I have to do is sort and stash. Get it? "Recycle"...Santa's gone green??

Now for the messy part... Katman, you're always looking for something to munch on. How about a nice, big chewy piece of... Would you like a glass of soy milk to go with that?
