<She quietly tip-toes in before anyone else is awake. Reaching in her bag, she pulls out the first present to leave under the tree> Oooo, look at this. They say that good things come in small packages, (at least that's what Mom used to say when I'd complain about my height as a kid). This cute, little box is no exception. The tag reads: On the first day of secret Santa, Siren gets......An all expenses paid shopping trip. Because we all know that every girl has to have that perfect outfit for every occasion.(Just in case anyone has forgotten from last year, don't forget to click on the box) More later, Santas. My own little pixies are starting to waken, and the quiet house will be quiet no more in a few minutes.

Not rain, sleet, or driving snow can stop the Elf from delivering her packages. We're in the midst of a Lake Effect snowstorm; schools were cancelled, businesses are closing - Hubs is home from work - which means I will get nothing done today. Except delivering presents, of course. The next two out of the bag are for Scrappy. Her Secret Santa has very thoughtfully not only made Scrappy's life a bit easier, but has taken care of her furry friends as well. A basket of fresh-baked treats for our canine cousins from the Barking Dog Bakery: A "Booster Bath" to make your dogs' bath time easier:

WOW! How cool is that! I was just complaining the other day what a pain it is to give my noodle dog a bath in the bath tub. She alway's tries to lay down. Thanks Santa! And the treats look good enough to have one myself......maybe..lol

This one is for Katina. (hhhmmm, Katina - I wonder what comes in a plain brown paper wrapper?) That's what I was wondering Lady P, isn't it usually racy stuff that comes in a plain brown wrapper? A big thanks to "whoever" it is, been a JB fan for ........... well let's just say for many many years, and that's going to provide fantastic reading.

Just stopping by to tidy up and gather up all the wrapping paper...how did all that ribbon get wrapped so many times around the ceiling fan? Well, I know how it got wrapped...no one could find the "Off" switch?? Sheesh. An elf's work is never done. Has anyone seen the ladder?? You all know how I hate ladders. Short, stocky elves and ladders are not a good combination. Alrighty then, ready for round two, looks like.

Wow! Look at this place, all sparkly clean overnight! I wish I had those kind of elves at my own house. I think the ones here wave their magic wands to create more of a mess to wake up to than I had before I went to bed.
Sit down, Tommygurl. Take a rest, and have some of that mead. You're looking kinda swirly and a bit dizzy. Ceiling fans and high ladders will do that to you, you know. Joxie - that ladder is perfect. Does it come with a safety harness for the ladder-climbing impaired? I hate ladders too. But one with wheels....that could be kinda fun. We could give rides! Everybody pile on; I'll hook up the Clydesdales. Ladder bells ring; are you listenin'?
At look! Gifts for my girls. One for the pup, Marquetta.....oh! A new chew toy.....er....I mean bed. She's going to love it. And BP and LX are going to love that cute tiny bundle of fur! And I'm going to take care of it! But awwww.....how can I resist something so cute. Not the guy though.....a friend of yours?
Thanks!

Round two coming up. The first one out of the bag is tagged for Katina. And wait! There's more! Katina, you must have been very good this year, or you have a very generous Santa. Both, I think. Edited to fix wrapper link. ~Mini-Mia

Not the guy though.....a friend of yours? I'm pretty sure the guy is Ceaser Milan..... Scrappy, I'm not sure what a 'noodle dog' is, but I believe I may have one. Let me know how that tub works, okay? Noodle Dog: A dog tht refuses to conform to the general dog shape when he/she thinks you are about to torture her with a bath, nail trimming, ear cleaning......etc That tub will definately come in handy.

Who the heck is Ceasar Milan? I should know him? Lettuce think a minute....the only Caesar I know is Caesar Salad, a Romaine of a different sort. Ah yes...the noodle dog; I do have one of those. Vet check this morning confirms it: she is prohibited from walks, and resigned to keep the satellite dish on for another week. We currently pick up 320 channels on it; shooting for 400 by the time it's over. And now, the reason I'm here....(although talking Caesar Salads makes me realize it's past lunch; I'm hungry).... Midday drop off.... This one is for Moonglum.

Don't go anywhere, Elfin Poppet. While you're here, I'm sure there is something in the bag for you.... <rummage, rummage, rumage...> Ah, yes....here we go. The tag reads: (speaking of me being hungry; this does nothing but make me more hungry) Here's comes a basket of treats for you. These marinades are so good and easy: And some very good, locally made chips n salsa and dip mix: Edited to fix image link. ~Mini-Mia

Thank you Secret Santa (whoever you are).
I've been driving all day, unfortunately not on the N17. I shall sleep like the just tonight dreaming of Douglas Bader, Genevive and Red Cortina's.

Nope, Elf Joxie - I've never heard of the Dog Whisperer, (should I be in the dog house for such ignorance?) Apparently LX has, and I'm surprized she hasn't gotten me to watch it with her. I drew the line though, at Pet Psychic....there is only so much a Mom can endure. Getting on to the business of the hour. This is for Siren. I'm thinking I might have hit the after Christmas sales and get the same for myself! The gift tag reads: A new outfit deserves some bling! P.S. The guy with the sunglasses will have your back while you cruise around town.

Oh wow, Santa, you are wonderful! So, I can take the private plane to all my Sooner gals' away games, all decked-out in my new Sooner duds? How lucky can I get! Thank you so much!
This is so fun. Many thanks to the Santas and their elves!

TWO presents, how great is that, as Lady P says, you are indeed a very generous Santa.
I'm set for the holiday season and BeyOND now, reading the new book as well as the James Bond Encyclopedia while listening to the CD as I sip on my Martini *shaken not stirred of course*
Thank you very much Santa, I'm intrigued to find out who's hiding under those whiskers.

Hey Gams - You deserve gifties, too. So here are some from me to you. They have no fancy paper or pretty bows, but I think the contents make up for that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gift 1: First, a year of sweets from the Pie of the Month club. Here's hoping that white chocolate blueberry cream pie is on the menu! ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gift 2: Now, to warm your winter, some lovelies from one of your Hollywood heartthrobs: His boxed set, containing "Sleepy Hollow", "From Hell", and "Before Night Falls": Put this gift behind glass, so your kisses don't smudge the autograph! ~~~~~~~~~~~ Gift 3: And, finally, here's a garden room so you can have happy greenery, even in the wintertime: Merry, merry Christmas! ~Siren

<Must stop drooling.....over the pie, of course. Must stop planning indoor gardens. And drooling; I definitely must stop drooling.> There's still work to do tonight. The last gift is delivered to Joxie after under-going a few technical difficulties; we ran out of tape, and the tape supply stores were all closed for the weekend. Elfin Poppet, ingenius elf that she is, came through though, and got it all pretty for delivery. Check it out, Joxie. It's worth the wait!

Hello, Santas. This is the final day; the day you reveal yourselves to your giftees. I'm sending your presents back to your pm boxes, all wrapped and ready to go, so you can post them yourselves, if you wish to do so. I know some of you probably won't get the chance....Moonglum, for example, has out-of-town family visiting, and will be busy celebrating the season with them. And if Vox's dinner descriptions in the food thread are any indication of how they'll be feasting, none of them will be able to move from eating all that good food all weekend. Enjoy your family, Moonglum and Vox!
Joxie, may or may not have electricity issues due to the storm. For Christmas, Joxie, I'm waving my elfin wand, (heck, I only have it a few days out of the year; I might as well put it to good use), and giving you an endless supply of electricity, so you can have your Internet, and your brother-in-law can keep safe by not trying to get it back for you.
If there are any gifts remaining by the end of the day, I will pass them out later this evening. I hope that gives everyone a chance to post them themselves if they can.
Merry Christmas, Santas! Once again, you have all done a spectacular job of finding just the perfect gifts to give.
