It was a great birthday. Ana won't be here until June 28th. We've been together for the past two years for my birthday but never for hers...so I insisted she wait until the after the 25th because she can only stay for 90 days at a time. No way to be together for both in the same year...at this point.
Anyhoo, I got an "Edible Arrangement" with pineapples, grapes, strawberries & white & dark chocolate-covered banana chunks & complete with balloons. And...I no sooner got home from work and the Dominos Pizza man was at the door with dinner...pizza, salad, custom-made spinach & Feta filled bread sticks & chocolate lava cake! Then...I got an hour-long warm bamboo message yesterday. I had no idea what I was going to until I got there & it's the first time I've ever had a "professional" massage (where I wasn't expected to return the favor). It felt fabulous, but she found spots that I didn't even know were loaded with tension. A little sore today.
Ana's mom's birthday is today, which means my celebration had to officially end...but it's OK. Nineteen more days and I get another gift!!
Thanks again my friends! Love you both!

Hope you had a very nice day - and a great dinner at a fancy restaurant. Or a really good pizza at the pizza place. Or a nice juicy hot dog with Chili and Cheese at your local Sonic. (That's a drive-in place if you didn't know. They don't have a dining area - you wait in your car and they roller skate out with your food. You're old enough to remember those aren't you? Ah, nostalgia is such fun.) Or a banana split. Or pop corn and a movie. And it turns out that it was all not only non-fattening, it was a special blend and it makes you skinny! Er! Skinnier!
Aw, thanks. You guys are sweet...well, except for the one that called me the old hag, but what should I expect from such a bad-@ss (who has crossed the line this year from young to old, I might add). Hugs and kisses, and pink poodles in frilly bows and ribbons? (Why I, or anyone, should desire such a thing is beyond me).

I will most definitely let you know...Hubs' birthday is this week; celebration dinner for us both is next weekend.
But today - Cake! I wonder if Red Velvet with cream-cheese icing is non-fattening?
I hear it's diet food for B-Day people. Problem is that it's a diet for your age - it'll make you think you are younger. It's not a diet for your waist, or your butt, or any other part that shouldn't be poofy.
