No yet. Probably next year; that'll be the year I start counting backwards.
That it was my birthday yesterday means, of course, I missed Joxie's. Happy Belated Birthday, Joxie. Hope it was a good one!
And I should probably get Katina's "Happy Birthday!" in now too, cuz if I don't I'll surely be late with his too. Soooo..Happy Birthday, Katina. Hope the Cats give you a great birthday gift by winning the championship.
(I pretty sure I'm sandwiched between you two. If not, I've missed Katina's too, and in that case, hope it's the Cats who give you the belated gift of winning the championship.)
Kat's birthday is coming up soon. Mine was in August. My sister made me a Sunday dinner the day after. It was her favorite meal. I haven't gotten around to making my favorite meal yet. Mine is: roast, potatoes & gravy. Hers is: cornbread dressing. She made her favorite for several reasons: 1) She's practicing up for Thanksgiving. Mom has even less energy, and last year she decided it would be her last to even attempt the dressing again. My sister had made dressing for her son's birthday dinner earlier in May. (It is his favorite dinner too.) 2) Since Mom doesn't make Sunday dinners anymore I don't get leftovers, and I've never made dressing, ever, and I've been craving it. Whenever Mom had a doctor's appointment on Mondays, we've ate at Cracker Barrel ... and I always get the luncheon special: baked chicken & dressing. So, my sister decided to take advantage of my craving to get in another practice. It's still on the dry side, but it was good. She'd made two huge pans of it, and I got to take some home. I really need to try my hand at it. I found a slow-cooker/crock-pot version, I just need to find where I put it.
I am pretty certain you have recently had a birthday, or are soon to have one. Don't take it personally that I can't remember the actual date - it's a common occurrence for me to only have a 'round about idea when it involves numbers.
Anyway, I hope it was or is a peachy-keen appley-dappley day.
