Who's here? Are you getting the kinks worked out? If you need help, you can ask it in the Help Forum... I may or may not be able to help you, as I'm learning the ropes here too. ;D

And I got my pic up how at ez board? You know me, I'm surprised I got this far. Not to worry, I'll get it.... Let's see now.....check, "Have my own picture....." Of course, I'll be going to the "help place", so as not to clutter here, gigs........

You'll figure it out, Q. I see you already know how to edit modify your posts. ;D The main reason for wanting everything in the Help forum isn't so much to keep from cluttering other forums as it is to help people find help in the help forum. If it's in all the other forums, how will they find it? Dang, there I go again, using ezSpeak. Let's try this again with ProBoards speak... The main reason for wanting everything in the Help forum board isn't so much to keep from cluttering other forums boards as it is to help people find help in the help forum board. If it's in all the other forums boards, how will they find it? Yep, this is going to take some getting used to.

If you were able to add the "alt" popups to the code, then the members could hover over them to see what made them show up.... but I couldn't get "alt" to work in the test thread.

I tested the alt thing for that purpose before adding the list. Maybe I should put in a suggestion to allow alt tags. Then again, it would be nice to have a working font tag. TEXT

So...How's it goin' as in how is it going getting used to this new home here? That's fair to midland, as I really haven't had time to experiment. Or, how's in goin', as in how am I? I'm fine and well, thank you.
Say, is there food and drink here, in this new place?
Ah, I spy the refrigerator tucked there in that corner. No, no...Don't get up. I'll just help myself.

Hi Phalon! I'm glad you're doing fine and well, and I'm sure you'll get used to this place before long. Here, have a drink.

Thanks for the drink, Gig. This morning, I actually had a drink on myself. Literally. Oh geeze. Hot, hot, hot. Spilled an entire mug of fresh brewed, steamy coffee on myself. Ouch. My fingertips get kinda numb and tinglely this time of year from over-use at work, (bad thing), and oops, the mug just slipped out of my hand.
Of course, I was already dressed, running late getting the girls to daycare, had to find something else clean and ironed, (yes, I iron just to go to work and get dirty), clean up the mess, and listen to Baby Phalon repeat over and over, "Mommy said a bad word, mommy said a bad word. Mommy said another bad word. Mommy said lots of bad words."
Not one of my better mornings. Thankfully, Little Xena mopped up the coffee for me while I got dressed, we got out of the house only ten minutes late, (a miracle, since we are habitually ten minutes late), and the rest of the day went much better.
Until this evening, when it was Little Xena and not hot coffee than got me steamed. Ah well, tomorrow is Friday.

Sounds like you could use another drink, Phalon, and I'm not talking about coffee! Sorry to hear you had such a stressful morning and evening, but I'm glad your whole day wasn't like that, and I'm glad tomorrow is Friday. Hopefully you'll have a nice, peaceful weekend to recuperate before doing it all over again next week.

Didja see that. Here look again.
That is me, so quick that I'm just a blur, with my new computer and DSL line.
Taking some getting used to though, and I'm finding some things a bit tedious.

Congrats on your new DSL line, Phalon! Yeah, it's a real pain when you don't have time to take a drink of your coffee in between clicks, isn't it? With me, I can click on a link, then go to the bathroom, come back and click on another link, then go make a snack, click on another link and eat my snack... When I'm real lucky, my next page will load by the time I get done washing the dishes! Edit to add: But of course, that was with ezboard and some other sites, but not this new board, and not at the sites I build.

I'm actually finding the new computer, (which I guess I should clarify as being new to me, though it is actually a couple of years old, but a few years newer than my old), is a bit slower than "Old Reliable". I wouldn't have changed, but the DSL wouldn't load on my old one. It's not suppose to be slower, is way more powerful, and in addition, I now have Windows Professional instead of Window 98, but it seems like forever to pull anything up.
I am loving the non-dial-up thing though.
I'm just rambling here, I know, kind of like at Cyrene's. I don't see another place here to do that, and I suppose this "How's it Goin?" place is as good as any...
I'll set the timer on the coffee pot...we had to carry over something from Cyrene's.

Was the "new" computer's hard drive re-formatted between owners? I would think that reformatting should have sped it up. We need to bring Cyrene's over here! After all, it's tradition!

I thought about creating Cyrene's... but was waiting to see if LucyStar was going to do it. It is her baby, and I didn't want to take it over from her.
