Aww, thanks Jox, Phalon, and Halona! Thanks to Jox, for helping me register everyone, setting up the polls and helping set up the smileys, as well as moving content and helping people make the transition. Thanks to Zena, Red, Phalon, Renecus, and everyone else who helped move a lot of the more important and interesting content over from the old board, as well as starting up so many new interesting conversations for people to participate in (this includes you too, Halona. ). I also want to thank everyone here for their part in making this transition a success. You all rock!

You're welcome everyone... but Le did most (all) of the work. I don't know nothing about html, css, java, etc. so I was no help with fixing up the board... I just basically came up with ideas that gave Le more work to do.

{{{ Kak, Gab, A1, xengab, Jox }}} Thank you all for the great show of appreciation! It sure is good to know that I made the right decision in moving the board in the first place! There are still a few things I'm working on, like adding the whosonline to all the individual boards, as well as quick-link drop boxes. I've got the functionality worked out, but I need to find time to work out the layout before putting it out there. Once that's done, I hope to post some helpful info in the Help board, for anyone who hasn't discovered how to use everything this place has to offer yet, as well as bringing over some of the non-board-specific Help topics from the other board. Jox, you have helped out a lot. True, you gave me a lot of suggestions which gave me more work to do, but they are good suggestions, and they help make this place better than it already was! You also helped out with the workload by adding the smilies to the board code list for me (not to mention rounding them all up so I wouldn't have to, and posting them all in one place for easy reference to add to the smilies pages), and you registered probably half of the people here, freeing up some time for me to work on adding even more goodies to this place. You've also helped by adding birthdays to the calendar and posting a birthday announcement in the newsfader when I was too busy to realize there was another birthday here, and you have brought over a lot of the content that was at the other board. You have helped out a lot more than you think... unless you're just being modest. Thanks for all you do!

Thanks for the appreciation, Rejean and Jessi, and you're both very welcome! And thank you, Jessi, for all the great avatars! Since my two days off are pretty much over, I won't be able to put the new ones up tonight. But hopefully I can do it Thursday or Friday night, though. I need a job with better hours.

katina said: Thanks, Katina! I was just harrassing Jox for trying to give me all the credit again, when she has done a lot herself. Now Jox, don't go playing modest again, because we all know you're just playing.

Well however the workloads shared between the two of you the result is excellent. The place has gone ahead in leaps and bounds in the six days my computer was down Don't know how I survived that long without a visit here.

Thanks, Katina. Six days? I hope it's all fixed now and doesn't break down again.

Yep, it seems to be working fine now thanks. If it goes again I think i'll scrap it and upgrade to something better, six days without a fix is a bit long for my liking

I got my computer from Tiger Direct. It cost less than $500 (without the monitor), and I got it within 2 days. Shipping time may vary depending on where you live and where they ship it from, but it beats fixing it over and over, or going without for 6 days.

I'll have to check that out if i'm in need of replacing my current one.
It's done pretty well though, just two problems in about two and a half years, so hopefully after this latest glitch it will be okay for a while yet.
I've never bought anything over the internet as yet, a little wary of giving out to much information, maybe i'm just being paranoid.
