Hey tribe! Bug, hope you are feeling better soon! I like the bowling moms too. No gay team this year?? Whats up with that? I don't think the military dad will last much longer with those 25 stitches. Peace, J

I loved the Amazing RAce... LOL..the bowling Moms.. I felt bad for the Military Dad.. {{{{{{Bug}}}}}}}} Hope you feel better OMG you were an outpatient?? I had gallbladder surgery about 4 yrs ago, I went to the emergency room, it was infected so bad that they were pumping anti biotics in me for a couple of days and then Monday morning I had the surgery. I was in the hospital for 6 days and I had the new procedure done too. It took a good 6 weeks for me to recovery and I recovered faster by walking and eating soft food for awhile. I hope you are doing better Bug

Thanks Jujunee, Lesigner Girl and Halona for your concern.
Halona, it must be because you were infected. How terrible for you. I am about 75-80% up to par. It's my belly button area that is the sorest, especially sitting too long and then standing. I am out today for the first time to look for elastic waist pants. I see the Dr on Mon and I may return Wed or I may just stay out the week. We are pretty dead at work now, and my only option outside of the office would be the warehouse, and I am not going out there to lift anything or be physical. So I'll see what my Dr.says.
I have never been sick or had anything major done before, so I don't know, this morning I have been teary and emotional, kinda frustrated. It's like one part of the day, I'm feeling really good, then all of a sudden I am very sore. Poor LB, lol she is having to deal with me. I would hate for something very serious to happen to, she might not survive my mood swings. LOL

Hi everyone. I loved the Amazing Race. I will say I can't stand the brothers, is it Marshall and Lance. I like the bowler moms and the little person and her cousin. When she carried that meat, I almost stood up and cheered. It made me laugh too, when her cousin is it myrna? wanted to play a hand of blackjack before they went to the pit stop. lol I am looking forward to this one. I think it will be highly entertaining and very interesting. I am home until July 13th recovering from my gallbladder surgery, I am sore but healing. They gave me some disgusting pics of my innards instead of my gallstones. I do not have nice looking insides. LOL Take care. My mother had open heart surgery, and she had her gall bladder removed a few years later. She said recovery from the gall bladder surgery was worse than the open heart surgery!! She said she was in the worst pain ever. I hope I never have to have my gall bladder removed! Hope you are feeling better soon bug!

Sushigal, that had to be difficult two surgeries for your mom. I know it's hard when my mom has something done, especially since she's 83.
I will be going back to work 7/19. I am still sore at my belly button. I went for my checkup Mon. I had some icky hard thing that really hurt in my belly button and she had to burn it out, so that was not pleasant. Now I have a black belly button. LOL She told me I would be more fatigued this week and next. I am just glad I don't have to worry about attacks anymore.
Irene, I would rather have the race on at 9 and I believe it was never on at 10 before. S p (Just in case) o i l e r s p a c e
I still love Charla and Mirna, still can't stand the brothers. I am glad the ones who lost last night are gone. They do not belong in a relationship.
I felt like it was really edited last night. It went very fast, and unless I missed it, why did the bowling moms tell dad and daughter to exchange their money. I can't see them doing something like that on purpose.

Hi bug and Halona So you go back on the 19th. Will that be full time or will you try a few days at part time? Have you thought about getting your doctor to approve you mid week to return to work then that way you don't have a full week to work. . . or go halftime for one full week. Anyhow, I hope it works out. Are you done with your summer vacation yet Halona? Irene

If anyone is not happy with the timeslot for "The Amazing Race", you might want to send out an email. I just sent my rant! ************************************************ I have been with this show from the beginning. I'm not happy with the time slot you put this show on this year. And I'm not alone because I have a chat group about it and interest has waned even after just two eps. Why oh why did you put your "Emmy" winning show on at 10 pm? It's too late at night and I'm too wound up to go to bed afterwards. You need to switch the line up and give it the 9:00 pm slot it earned. And why did you put two reality shows on the same night back to back? You're going to regret doing this..... *************************************************** Here's the link: www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race5/#Scroll down to the bottom and select "Feedback" and complete the form with your message. ***************************************************

You can always set your VCR... go to bed... then watch it the next day.

You can always set your VCR... go to bed... then watch it the next day. No way. I don't have time for that. I'd rather tell CBS that they screwed up their schedule and took our show off it's prime time spot. The show that earned itself a Prime Time Emmy. Irene

Hi dixie! If you wanna be in this tribe, you post here. It originated at the SUSA forums for Survior and The Amazing Race actually. It's a way to stay in touch. But you can talk about anything here. TAR is about 11 teams of two that run all over the world in a race to win 1 million dollars. Here's the official website: www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race5/Irene
