I knoiw exactly how you feel Xengab. When it gets to be too much. Just leave a sign on your door telling them to go away. I'll leave the coffee pot on for you for later.

Hello Xengab. I am sorry to hear of his passing and and the sadness that accompanies it, too. It is good that you have a group gathered around you here in the Tavern, though, and kind people on the other end as well.
Big hug.

XenGab: I hope each person that comes to your door to visit shares with you a wonderful memory of theirs with you. It helps to remember the good times. You are lucky to have so many people that care. Take your time for grief is something only the living experience and each individual experiences it at their own pace.

Whoa ladies, I would hate for you to make this sacrifice all by yourselves. Let me help you out by having a drink or two myself. A whiskey sour, if you please.
Wishing all mothers a very Happy Mothers Day this Sunday!

Good Morning, Ladies. Too late to have a drink with you all, I see. Or early. Coffee for me, thanks. Lots of it.
Going to be busy, busy at work today - Mother's Day weekend, and we are always swamped.
Echoing Eroc's sentiment, and wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day.
I'll mix up a nice big pitcher of Mint Juleps for anyone who stops in to watch the Kentucky Derby on the big screen television here, although, "eewwww", I don't see how anyone can actually drink them.
Enjoy the day.

Ah yes, big day here in Kentuckiana!! The hype, the hoopla, the crowds, the big money, & yes, those nasty, nasty mint juleps...
How 'bout a nice Jack & diet instead?? Well, since it is only 9am, maybe I'll start with a Absolut Bloody Mary.....hot & spicy please!!
Good thing you got your new skis to move you around today, P....should make the day go faster....right??

Hey all I'd love a soothing drink to aid the sore throat from scratching. The tea just made it worse so how about something to numb it to sleep!!!

I'd love one of those iced coffee's please. It is toasty outside today. So how are things with everyone? Are those with children already preparing for the summer vacation madness? The kids get bored so fast these days.

Summer vacation?! ACK! You're kidding right? Barely in the fifties outside this week, and how can summer vacation be coming up soon? So dang ready to put away the winter coats. So much to get done before summer.
Played outside in the yard today; planted a bunch of stuff, edged a new bed with brick pavers, and tried to keep BP from using the vegetable garden as a sand-box - at least the area where things are already growing. Itching to get the annuals planted, but afraid it'll frost again.
GP, send some of your toasty weather this way.
Oooo, and iced coffee - there's this mix I like I got in New Orleans and haven't been able to find since....an iced coffee drink made in the blender with vodka. I wish I knew what was in the mix so I could make them again. So good.

now that is some usefull information...Joxcie Phalon be sure and try it out and let us know if it meets your approval. Would you like the humidity sent your way as well? I feel like I am sticking to everything...The poor computer chair is making noises it should not be making as I move...I swear that was the chair...
