Phalon, have you ever been to a movie or read a book where you want to scream at the characters, "Why don't you see what's happening?" Nice work. Is the description of child wake up alarm an personal experience??

Oh yes, most definately, Zena. The finger-pry wake up call is Baby Phalon's technique. Little Xena's is a bit more subtle but twice as unnerving. Ever get the feeling someone is staring at you, then open your eyes to find a face just inches from yours?

Oh my...what a minnow bucket full of wiggly bait...Zena has left(refrains of On the Road Again went through my mind) and Phalon may stay behind. Who else will join what camp?
In a way, it is sad to depart the characters that make up Phalon's family and the other village characters that play in and out of scenes. The are so well written by all, they assume a life of their own.
BTW: Phalon...good fortune on finding the rose! I looked out my bedroom window this morning to see my Esperanzas in full, bright yellow bloom! It still feels like summer so I guess they will bloom like it is.
EG is on her way out the door to the village hair trimmer to have a bit o silver strands trimmed...
I am going to try to post this evening...we shall see.
Great day to all my fellow Bards... [shadow=green,left,300]EG[/shadow]

A post. A bit melodramatic, perhaps, but I get it from my daughters. Or is that the other way around?

I just have one question... isn't the family wondering where Vania went off to?

Well...er..uh... Something I've thought about, Joxie, but I don't quite know how to fix it yet.
I suppose a blind woman, traveling with an injured child and a missing Amazon, may take awhile to get home.
Oh where are you, Frieda Rose?

I created an album where the bards can upload images to use in "The Zena Scrolls": I also have some emoticons all the bards can use... just check out the "A & E" and "Divide Bars" lists.

It has been a rock and roll weather night in my part of the Xenaverse... Phalon et al...I have been having major computer problems. The Furies have been trying to take over my system and have a small foothold which may only be solved by "killing" them and reinstalling. I have been backing up files before sending my system to computer heaven. I will have to do a reinstall and will lose all without the backup. I truly have not had time to write and will have to go back to see where I left off actually... See ya when I see ya- [glow=green,2,300]Evergreen[/glow]

Been There, Done That... I was off for about a month due to my harddrive having one foot in the grave and the other foot sliding fast. Fortunately, I was able to buy an external harddrive and move everything over onto it before having to have a whole new CPU built. I try to remember to copy stuff over to the external drive as often as possible... I probably should burn stuff onto CDs/DVDs too. It doesn't hurt to have more than one copy around the place.

Ah, Thanksgiving Day! What a great holiday! Eating, relaxing, eating, visiting, and eating!! Hope it was a peaceful one for all. The muse has not been with me of late and neither was Sumire who never took Zena's hand! So, I decided to move on, I hope that's ok. Scroll on Bards!

Yes, all that eating and relaxing in just a day or two, and one wonders why it takes so long to work it off.
Zena, a great post and good to see the muse payed you a recent visit.

The muse has not been with me of late and neither was Sumire who never took Zena's hand! So, I decided to move on, I hope that's ok. Scroll on Bards! GAK!! I totally dropped the ball on that! So sorry Zena. Of course she took Zena's hand. It's my fault, not Sumi's. (She's gone beyond making snide little comments in my direction on to a straight forward and intimidating glare. -Please tell me I'm not the only one who has brief interaction with their characters..) I'll work on getting a quick little fill -in post. I hope everyone had a nice holiday.

Hooray! Sumire saved Zena from terminal frozen hand. Yup I do "talk" with my character..WWZD?
Hey Phalon....are you in from the garden and into the library these days? It sure is cccccold and windy by the lake isn't it?

|
|
Post by Phalon on Dec 1, 2004 20:39:16 GMT -6
In from the cold, Zena, but not at the library this year. Last year was Little Xena's final year at the school where I was Liscary mom, so I passed the baton off to another for the final year the school is opened. Still sad about its closing, as I hoped Baby Phalon would be able to attend. A neat little school.
Ahhh...progress. Pfft.
And yes, the wind from the lake is bitter...and relentless. Last night I thought my house was going to end up in OZ.

Ditto on last night's OZ thing! I'm sure I saw a few people fly by the window. Sorry about the school, I didn't know it was set to close. Sad indeed..like remember when the Romans burned the great library of Alexandria? Ooooops......slipped my time frame..YAZI.

No, but I do remember when Cassius the Tailor skipped town, leaving poor Ceasar to wear last year's model of toga.

In other news, I will shortly delete my last post because Trix & I are up to something and the post will return afterwards.

I'm still around and have been keeping track of all the comings and goings. I'm in finals week right now, so I'll be pretty busy this week, so don't expect a post from me anytime soon. Besides, Bhen Rudha and I have been working on something, but with both of our schedules it's been taking a long time to get it together.

I knew if I waited long enough while I saw you logged in, Evergreen, that I'd have a post to read before I went to bed.
Blackwolf, I'm glad you check in every now and then to let us know how you are. Good luck on your finals....and looking forward to the day Blackwolf will roll her eyes again at some ridiculous thing that Phalon does.
Let me go read.

Hey Phalon...hope my post was worthy of staying up late. Evergreen is just buying time until the rest of the storyline catches up. LOL I don't have wind from a lake but we are forecast to have strong storms, possibly tornados, tomorrow afternoon or evening... the house began to twitch You'd think I was back in Kansas. Glad to see everyone posting again. How long have we been doing this now? It is an amazing journey is it not? EG
