Gross! Now that I've seen the stills, I will be forced to do a memory wipe!
I wish I hadn't thought of this but I wonder if it's water based paint? Now I will have to fight the urge to carry around a glass of water everywhere I go. You're so cruel!

And yet I feel no quilt what so ever. But I'd advise against the glass of water thing. Spray bottles are much easier. But be sure to remove anything valuable and or breakable first.
Actually, removing body paint depends on the kind of paint that was used. Some paints come off easily with water, but they are not popular as they also come off easily with sweat. The most common types require warm to hot water and soap. The wrong kinds of paint can be dangerous and removing them even more so. And don’t take this wrong, but according to the art community, the artist is often also responsible for the safe removal of any paint. (People usually expect to go to bed sans paint.) Certain areas are more sensitive than others and require assistance; especially the eyes.

In theory this should work: www.mlive.com/lansing-news/index.ssf/2014/11/how_to_avoid_the_second_shovel.html#incart_riverIn actuality, I'm not so sure. If you've ever tried to cross a 3 foot mound of snow left by plows at a sidewalk crosswalk on the side opposite the street intersection, you'd have to wonder. Technically, based on this article, that 3 foot mound should be spread out throughout the intersection, not mounded up at the sidewalk. But hey, in 7 days of consecutive lake effect snow, today's is only system snow; we've got a break until the lake effect kicks back in tomorrow. And yesterday our town made Michigan's top ten list of high temperatures - at 24 degrees. And that 24 degrees only dropped as low as "feels like 8 degrees" with the wind chill. And at least it's not upstate New York: sploid.gizmodo.com/holy-mother-of-god-check-out-this-giant-wall-of-snow-s-1660338942

I'd have to see it in action before I accept it Phalon, and right now I'm not buying into it. A grader for instance is going to distribute debris unless there is no snow. You'd have to clear your driveway and the roadway as if you were walking into traffic. If you do a bit of their job for them they won't have snow from the road to deposit in your driveway - but how much of a lead way is required I don't know. Clearing the corner just doesn't seem like it'll work.
You know, all those people being snowed in get to stay home. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Spock: my system is saying there is a problem with the site security certificate.

That's odd. We had a problem earlier this year because I failed to renew our certificate on time but it was corrected before the day was over. It may be that you have a cookie from an earlier visit. Would you mind clearing any cookies you have for wildtangentfnsite.com and then try again? If you get another error response, would you take a screen image and post it so I can try to get it corrected?

Sorry Spock, but I don't have a cookie for "wild" anything. I cleared out all cookies a couple months ago when I had a problem with an application update from a web site that snuck in some adware on me. ( Got me more than a little PO'ed too. It was a pain in the but to get rid of it. ) Anyway, I get a window that says: WARNING: Potentially Unsafe Link The link you have clicked is trying to send you to an external page (URL below). For your safety, please be sure this is where you really want to go. That is a plugin I installed to prevent anyone from accidentally going to a bad site. It doesn't mean the site is bad. It just gives you time to double check the link to make sure you really want to go there. If you trust Spock, by all means, click "yes." I did.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind but if it's more convenient for you, feel free to just copy the information and paste it into here ... or ask me to do the same. I'm not really "pushing" my site, I'm just lazy.

I completely agree. We have about a little more than a foot out there right now...but it fell over the course of a week, so it wasn't difficult at all to clear each day. A heavy snow though, pfft! Clearing a corner doesn't seem as if it'd do anything except giving a person more snow to shovel!
The first few times I got that window I was like "Whoa! Crap!", because I was checking links I posted to make sure they worked; I immediately ran a virus scan and Malwarebytes scan because obviously I'd already on the sites to get the links!
Neither scans ever found anything though, so after the first few times, I figured it was some kind of safety precaution, not a warning that the site was known to be unsafe.
The warning window is helpful for links that aren't showing the actual website address like your "Lady Wears Paint" link, or Spock's "Bandaid of the future"...you don't really know what you're clicking on without the plug-in.

Snow - I saw something on either Fox or Yahoo that said your state already had record snowfalls for November.

If I hover over the words, the url shows up at the bottom of the screen, for me. I've been known to accidentally click on the wrong link and have gotten onto sites that gave me a virus or my firewall warned me about, so even though the plugin warning can be a major pain in the butt, it also comes in quite handy at times.

I really need to finish adding the rest of the smileys to the new plugin. I totally forgot I was doing that when I got distracted with the 'Outlander' books.

Did you like the books? HUH? Was it worth abandoning us to a measly 40 pages of smileys while you did nothing but read? (Actually, we appreciate the effort Joxcee but who could resist a line like that?)

Adding the smileys to the new plugin is a major job too. But I think it's worth all the extra work. I like looking for them in the plugin box, instead of having to search through all the threads for them. It'll also be easier to add new ones there too, instead of having to use the censored words list.
Did you know I added a plugin where members can have their own smiley list? You can add your own smileys to it in your profile. I also have the option to delete them should any members . . . *cough* trolls *cough* . . . add inappropriate smileys to their list.

I've added more smileys to the list. Still have a few more threads to go and I'll be done!
