I've become addicted to being zapped.
OH, REALLY?

*Shakes head* Not nice, Jon, zapping Jox. Don't encourage him, Jox, he might electrocute you. That'd be a helluva bad way to die.

Just logging on long enough before work to say good job on the rules, Jox! Not QUITE what I had in mind, but I can definitely work with them. You like my post? I couldn't resist posting, my ideas were just eating at me! Have a good day, Jox! Oh and Jon, too, even though I haven't seen ya on in a day or two. See ya on tonight, maybe!

Yeppers, it was a nice post. It gave me some ideas on the rules. Since I had vampires only able to turn others by draining them almost dry and then feeding them their own blood in return ... and the turning taking 3 days ... I had to explain how your victim turned so quickly. Like I said, the rules are more like guidelines, but they do need to be updated whenever something occurs that isn't in the rules, or contradicts them.
You can post your ideas on the workshop board if you'd like and I'll see if the rules can be added to and updated. But if you're fine with them the way they are, then I'll leave them for now. Then change them if something should come up in later posts.

Heh, I thought I made it clear she had turned into a zombie and not a vampire....

Okay, I made an addition to the Werepyre rules: I thought this might have been what was bothering you about the rules.

Ok, NOW you've lost me.

I assumed she had turned into a vampire. My bad. But it still led to rules where one could be turned quickly if the need arose.
In my rules, if a Were/Shifter/Lycan Werepyre died ... it's heart stops beating, it becomes a full 'virus-carring' vampire ... but can become a Vampire Werepyre by being bitten. (Whereas before it had been a Were/Shifter/Lycan Werepyre.) Am I making sense, or are you still lost. I do tend to have that effect on members.

Slightly less lost now. Guess I coulda made it clearer in my post that she became a zombie. But I figured it would be obvious, cuz if she was a vampire, she would then be living in the town, thereby abiding by the rules, so she wouldn't be terrorizing the locals unless she was a zombie. Bet I just lost YOU there. Sorry if I did. That sentence made sense in my head.

Yeah. Got ya. I just assumed that being new to being a vampire and not have been taught the rules, she didn't know not to terrorize the locals.
Logging off now. Laters.

I'll make sure to ask the scarecrow... if I ever meet a scarecrow. Wouldn't that be weird...? I mean to meet a talking scarecrow? Would freak the heck outta me and I'd probably be all like "UHm... I'm seeing things... do they have meds for that?" STILL no pirates, Jox? *Sadness*

Finally got an email back from Jon. He's just been so busy lately with all the doctor's appointments that he's had to take his son to, and between that and work, he has NO time for anything else. Thought you might like to know that. He doesn't know when he'll be back on the forum, but he did say he has some nice ideas for the story rolling around in his head. (Ow, that must be painful, huh? ) Good thing he has some ideas cuz I am fresh out.
