Dang Spock! That was impressive! I thought I had a good one and it didn't even last a day.

OK, here goes:

Hmm, have I killed the topic!? Anyone else should feel free to jump in and post a different riddle if mine is too hard ...

I haven't given up Spock, but you gave us a non-standard made-up-by-persons-unknown abbreviation/acronym. It is going to take longer when the letters can mean anything - ?you brought me a ball - you bought me a bourbon - ... there are many possibilities.

IITYWYBMARB <------ I cheated and did a Google search. Hmm ... - That's not what I posted, and
- I also did a search and what my letters mean never appeared.
I think Stepper had the answer and yours is close, so I'll let you two fight it out.

Sure. Cause I would have never figured it out had I not Googled.

The ladies across the partition at work have complimentary senses of humor. It doesn't matter that they aren't funny, they think they are and that's all it takes. So the other day one of them, not finding an appropriate word, asked if something was 'Googleable'. They've spent two days saying Googleable as often as possible. "I'm leaving for lunch. Do you want me to get you something too?" 'Yes, but I don't know what I want yet.' "Is it Googleable?" Then both of them laugh about it again.

There's a new search engine called DuckDuckGo.com . Let them know it's even better than Google and see if they start a new phase in their "humor".

With permission...
victim: Okay, what does 'ITYIYBMAB' mean?
person: I'll tell you if you by me a beer/bourbon.
victim: What? I already bought you one! Okay okay. But only one more. Now what does it mean?
person: I'll tell you if you by me a beer/bourbon.
Next puzzle:
What does this mean? N A E L C

It's something you're supposed to do after sex, er making some kind of mess ... is that clear enough?

BOLL! Here's another one. Robert walked down the street and bumped into his old friend from university. "I haven't seen you for ages! I've married someone you wouldn't know." said the young friend . "This is our daughter!" "And what's your name, girl?" Henry asked the little girl who was holding his friend's hand. "It's the same as my mummy!" Said the girl. "Oh so it's Rafaella, is it?" Robert asked. He was right! How did he know the girl's name? (And no, the little girl wasn't wearing a shirt with the name on it.)

The old friend of Robert’s was the mother of the little girl.
What English word retains the same pronunciation, even after you take away four of its five letters?
How you be Step?

Step be confused. You go from five letters to one and the pronunciation doesn't chage? Um, I'll get back to you on this one.

I can't think of a 5-letter word . . . just these: I, eye, aye. Trying to think of a 5-letter word for 'I.' That's the only letter that comes to mind at the moment that is the same no matter how many letters the word contains.

Ha. I was thinking: U, you, ewe . . . trying to think of a 5-letter word pronounced as 'U,' and I see you got it. I don't think I ever would have gotten that one. I don't pronounce that as 'Q.' I pronounce it as: qweve. I don't know why. It got stuck in my head and I can't get rid of it.

Can I join the queue of those looking for an answer? Spock, if you hadn't posted that sad story about your kitten, I might just have to vulcanize your ears! So now you have to post a riddle. Or I'll find some riddle written in Mayan or something -- not that I would even know it was a riddle. Sigh.

Since Spock won't play, here's another one...
With pointed fangs it sits in wait, With piercing force its doles out fate, Over bloodless victims proclaiming its might, Eternally joining in a single bite.
What am I?

Then 5 = ?

Well, I get one answer if I look at it as a pattern progression and a different answer if I look at it as a mathematical progression ...

One way or another, the most obviously correct answer will be made evident.
