Flying a bit of a kite here, but could it have been Bette Davis, sounds like something she'd say.

There have been several versions of this film made. All made with excellent leading ladies.

Thanks, think I'm gonna need it, banging my head against a brick wall here at the moment.
When you say "mostly comedy", is it a comedy/drama, a comedy/musical, or something else?

*Peeks out from freezing cold Blighty!* Am I allowed to guess?? *smiles sweetly* Kt xx (You might wanna tell me the rules too! LOL) Yeah, go for it kt, if you reckon you know, just jump in any time. Oh, rules, errr, I'll check with Scrappy on that one, don't think there are any really.

Thought I'd try a new game. Here's how to play...at least a preliminary set of rules. One person posts the last line of a famous movie, or even one of your favorite lines from a movie and another person guesses which movie it was. If they are correct they post a line from another movie etc.....any questions? I'm thinking it might be best if players signified whether the line is the last line or best line.
I'll start with an easy one.
Last Line:
"After all, tomorrow is another day."
This will help, it was how Scrappy started the thread off, it's pretty simple really, and great fun.

Kt xxx Think you may have nailed it Kt, the one with Rosalind Russell. Don't know if I would have figured that one without a lot more help from Scrappy, nice going. What's happening in old Blighty at the moment, and dare I ask, what's become of Xena Virgin?

Yeah, like Scrappy says, XV could have kept posting, even on a Spanish computer, we all speak Spanish here, right guys ....... si. ;D And that's hard to believe, that it's cold in the old dart in mid winter, very surprising.
No worries Scrappy, soul of discretion me.

Okay...I'll give ya a couple of clues since I am so knackered and have to go to bed...
Its definately a mix of both comedy and drama...in fact, its a combo of quite alot of genres...
Its quite recent, 2003 i do believe...
You either LOVE it or HATE it (A bit like marmite) and it was a surprising departure from the norm for one of the main stars...
Enough?? ;D

Ooo...had to think about this one...
Technically the film is Australian...but was very famous in the US...the female lead is very hollywood and the male lead is from Sunny Scotland!! ;D

"Sunny" Scotland, I like that. Meant to ask you before, Marmite, that's a poor cousin of Vegemite, right? Anyway, I digress, think we're moving in the right direction at last, would the female lead be our own "Nicky" aka Nicole Kidman?
