I just realized something. Next week is our the one year anniversary. One year!
Katina mentioned in another thread that the Zena Scrolls was as long as "War and Peace"; been writing in that one for four years or so, (lost track). At the rate this is going here; this story will take decades to finish, and end up as long as the full volume set of Encyclopedia Britannia. One year later, and still we are not through day two in the house.
Too much fun though. Glad I decided to join in and stay. The behind the scenes plotting, (and still no plot), the kidding around, (hey Tami, use the @. Just popped into my head), the bloopers, and writing with all of you has been quite an experience.
Won't be here for the anniversary celebration, so celebrate well, and have one for me. I'll leave the boxed wine; no brawling please. Cheers.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WON'I BE HERE!!!!
Dang...I had something very cool planned. Required a tiara and a fully gassed up Harley....and maybe a tanked up Scrappy.

Sorry to miss the celebration, Mophead, but my southern exposure is next week. Been gearing up; practicing my "Ya'll"s for the last few days. Not quite getting it though. Is it "ya'll" or "y'all"?
I'm sure there'll be food at this celebration? Cake, perhaps? Save some for me. Take pictures also; lampshades on heads over fishnet clad legs, I think, would be a shame to miss completely.
And keep the Harley fired up; a rain-check on the ride when I get back?

Happy anniversary, one and all. I think it's just amazing that we were able to keep this thread so very close to Joxcee's original vision! (*heh, heh*)
To answer a couple questions:
It's "y'all" which is a contraction of you and all. It can mean one or more. In the Mid-Ohio Valley they say "you-uns" in a way that sometimes blurs the distinction between singular and plural. In my hometown people just grunt and point.
And as a matter of fact I *was* getting slimed while I was away ... by an internet demon, not a spiritual one. Hopefully it won't come back.
Can anyone tell my last post was written months ago and desperately reworked to fit the timeline?
Lastly to Scrappy -- I'm putting a windscreen over my ear for the next time you go PPBBBLLLTTT

Very good Phalon... I was reading and thinking about how I would get back to the house when I got to me walking down the hallway. LMAO when Mrs. P slapped you silly. I enjoyed it greatly.
I think I may still start with my run to the gate and then work it up to the hallway meeting... I'm thinking of adding another servant such as Mrs. P...

LOL... if'n ya want to catch Mrs. P in the act of slapdom... I hope you do it soon, Joxie : ) I've got a post on the burner, waiting for some review. I'd be more than happy to wait for you, though, since my post picks up as Mrs. P is coming back downstairs from showing Phalon to her room.

Phalon has me going into the dining room, so my contact with Mrs. P was a brief one... go ahead and make your post. I haven't started mine yet and I'll just work around what you post. I wasn't planning on using Mrs. P, but if she does work her way into it, I'll just be sure not to put her in two places at once... Or we can wonder who the real Mrs. P is and who's the imposter.

Wait, wait, wait....
Can I have Mrs. P just five or ten minutes longer, (plus another 25 minutes for a behind the scenes scene, or 147 days in house minutes)?
I promise I'll give her back intact.

Mrs. Peacock, what in Tartarus' name have you done with my clothes? Sheesh. They weren't that horribly stinky, you know. Not bad enough for you to throw up...them in the air. I want them back; cleaned and pressed - not too much starch. Oh, and can you please fix the tiny hole in the pocket while you're at it. Wouldn't want to lose any of my treasures.
Tami - gotta say it again. Loved the post; love your writing. Makes me wanna break-down and do something I've been meaning to for a long time: read some of your fan-fiction; I understand it's fabulous. Time is a culprit though, and I need more of it. Adding your stuff to my winter reading list, while I'm off work.
Pulling up your post to read though, and damn, reread mine also. What the hell was I doing? Typo negative and I made a bloody lot of them. Serves me right for waiting to type-o while I'm tired. Which I am now; so they'll have to stand uncorrected for awhile. Maybe a long, long while. High-ho, typo, it's off to bed I go.
Sheesh, let me outta here.

Thanks, Phalon : ) I appreciate the kind words. I'm just having fun doing this. I bow in gratitude to Scraps for convincing me I would have fun : )
And now, since I did just take twice as long to type those two lines out simply because I had to back up over a dozen typos... I'm gonna go play Age of Empires and just stay away from the laptop... hahaha.

Well, I've been working on a post for the big meeting that I think is long overdue -- as in... Why the Heck Are We Here? It's pretty much done and will patiently wait until everyone is ready. It will be two or three posts (pretty long). So whenever ya'll are ready to get to the meetin'... just join up in the dining hall. I think two days (Whoosher days) will be enough to get everyone on course and in their seats... LOL... If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Kinda of waiting on another, then one more post from me oughta do it, I think.
This meeting: formal or casual? Is food to be served, (thrown)? Cocktails, (to be spilled)?
