Joxie? You still with us?
I was just wondering that myself after reading Guru's post.
Am I the one who just bite the dust?

Hello everyone! I've read your story and really love it! I would really like to post in the story also. Was wondering if that would be okay? The character I have in mind is a tall black haired female with violet eyes. Her name is Carly. She has the ability to move things with her mind and to astral project herself wherever she wants to go. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks and keep up the good writing

Howdy everyone! Just to keep things on the up and up I feel I must mention here that Becka is my cousin....she's not a Xena fan (having only seen maybe two episodes) but I'm working on her. ;D But I have told her about this story and she would like to jump in. If anyone has any objections please feel free to speak up. We won't be offended I promise.

Don't worry, Joxcee! You're not the new stiff on the block. But you might bump into him if you keep wandering around the passage between the walls.
This is a secret, so do not tell anyone - okay? There is a fortune in stolen diamonds somewhere in the house. Before the dead guy could kill us or scare us off so he could find it, some other evil killed him. Dixie has already encountered it. And I don't think she enjoyed the encounter. (Correct me if I'm wrong, Dixie!)
Welcome, Becka! Carly sounds like a valuable addition to the cast. Or are we more of a crew?
Anyway, there is one thing you should be warned about: nearby is a thread full of rowdy pirates. So don't leave your chocolate chip cookies unguarded at any time.

Ok...so I lied. I did not get a chance to write anything tonight. There was this quilt, see? And a kitty curled up on my stomach...and I was so cold from working outside today...and the quilt was so warm and toasty, and the kitty purring, and Hubs promised me he'd wake me up in just a bit - Just a teensy, tiny little nap, you know? I vaguely remember him trying...and trying...and trying.
Ah well, it's way late now, and too late for my mind to function - even though I've had a full night's sleep already!
Joxie, glad to hear you haven't bit the dust. Had me worried there for just a bit.
Welcome, Becka. Any cousin of Scrappy's, is a cousin of mine. No - that's not how the saying goes, is it? The more the merrier. How's that? Looking forward to reading your first post.
Oh, and before I forget.....Freebird, I was wondering if you could do me a tiny favor? Could you post in the discussion thread here, a physical description of your character? Thanks.

So I lied again...a four hour nap is a bit long and I couldn't seem to fall back asleep. Me and the two kitties are wide awake, and since vaccuuming is not an option with sleeping Hubs and kids, I leave you with a post. Not much forward motion, I know, but at least Guru can breathe without the point of a sword at his throat.
Later.
Scrappy, I'm not sure, but I think your last sentence here, just ruined by day....or my next four years.

Ok so I got up this morning and still had hope. But now I see that Kerry has conceded. Damn! I think I'll go hide in the shed for four years. Someone come get me when it's over?........providing he hasn't gotten us all blown to hell! Sorry for ranting....... Great post Phalon.......not sure how we are managing to miss dinner again, but I'm guessing a very dead Greek ghost doesn't care about eating. Good job Becka! Glad to see you made it! ;D

Dinner!!! Is food all you living people think about? If y'all stop chasing noises and things that go bump in the night all over the place and help me find my &*%$ing cooking pot instead, I'd mix you up a nice tasty fish stew.
He conceded? Dang, last I heard this morning is that it would take approximately eleven more days to figure it all out. I suppose that's what happens when Nick Jr. is on the television - I miss out on what's happening in the world outside of Blue's Clues. Next time, I'm voting for Dora the Explorer.
Becka - very, very nice job.

LadyKate wrote in her column: Never yet have I felt so tempted to vote for whatever dingbat the Libertarian Party has put on the ballot this year (for the record, Michael Badnarik), or to cast a write-in vote for George Washington, Xena the Warrior Princess, or Homer Simpson.

Just wondering what Guru's got under that trenchcoat of his.
Anyone have any idea of where to go next? I'm lost.

Heh... I'm lost too... but I guess I best jump in and sink or swim... hopefully I won't drown like some greek mystic from the past. lmao

I bet this would be a whole lot easier if we all worked in the same office .. and spent the day emaling scenes back and forth. Maybe we could arrange a chatroom meeting to rapid-fire ideas?
And to clear up something, Guru is wearing a jacket just loose enough to conceal the Ion Gun. He doesn't want to scare anyone ... but he is scared enough to carry this weapon. He won't use it unless the group is attacked by a demonic force. ...which he fully expects.
He does own a trenchcoat and will probably wear it outside. It conceals another weapon.

I blame it on the robe. It was too heavy, although I suppose Phalon could have blown air into it's billowy folds and somehow used it as a life saving device.
Reddy?
I beg your pardon, I never promised you a robe guardian.
Oh man, that was Helen, (say it really fast), the ears, wasn't it?
So, sorry. It's Scrappy's fault. She started me in on the bad song. And darn it, I was so pleased with the one running through my head before I got here.

Ok Guru, since there are a few of us here, (where'd Joxie run off to. Darn it, that girl never stays in one place long enough to get a handle on her), any ideas?

Someone's got chicken? Everyone in the house should be getting very hungry by now. Maybe we should bump into our newest member on the way to the kitchen.

I did suggest a dinner meeting earlier, to get a grip on our characters....several of us need some character description time. You know backstory.........something like hi! I'm so and so I'm from podunk wherever?

Post by Phalon on Nov 5, 2004 0:59:43 GMT -6
Oh yeah, and I had the smell of roasting chicken wafting up from the kitchen in an earlier post. I wonder if it's burnt or cold by now.

And every time we get together something happens. What if we can't find the source of the scream and decide to go downstairs for the meeting? I can make my famous Bachelor Beans and Rice -- not only does it stick to your ribs, but it also keeps moles out of your garden!

You'll have to give me the recipe. The moles are running amok under my roses.

Throw some bubble gum down the hole.......they'll go away. Trust me. Dinner sounds good. It will allow us all time to do our thing....Phalon not sure how we are going to do the language thing......
