I'm glad you decided to resurrect him...and the house too. Looking forward to seeing how both characters evolve under your deft imagination - for the house, I think, wasn't just a setting or a prop; it became a character in the story.

A good rule of thumb: never trust a nun who takes you to a creepy old, abandoned house on a hill.
That's what I always say anyway.

Do you think Sister V sits down before a meal and says, "Let us prey"?

Do you think Sister V sits down before a meal and says, "Let us prey"? It's highly likely and very good, top of the class. I can't top that.

HA!
Psst, Jason....she most certainly did do it deliberately.

HA! Psst, Jason....she most certainly did do it deliberately. I did imagine her saying it with a wry sense of irony. The bristling would have been for effect and not meant to convey anger. A merry christmas and a happy new year to all scribes, wordsmiths and lyricists everywhere.

Ah, Bertie and Tilly. Good to see them again. Seemed like such a nice couple from our one visit with them all those years ago!
Then again, Sister V seemed nice at first too!

Moonglum, have you ever thought about or done anything with Jason's story outside of the board?
I can even see it as a great graphic novel series.

Moonglum, have you ever thought about or done anything with Jason's story outside of the board? I can even see it as a great graphic novel series. I did think about it a while back. But there are large parts of it that are interwoven with other bards characters, that it would need a serious rewrite. Unfortunately I don't have the time available at the moment. I was looking forward to retiring in September but it doesn't look like that's going to happen just yet. I like the sound of a graphic novel, know any good illustrators. lol.

Time is always the culprit, isn't it! I'm sorry your retirement looks like it'll be delayed.
Sorry, I don't. Perhaps during some of that spare time you don't have, you could take up illustrating!

Moonglum, have you ever thought about or done anything with Jason's story outside of the board?. Ooh, you are a very naughty lady. You got me thinking, didn't you, and that's always dangerous when women let men think for themselves.

I have made a start. I've downloaded every post i've done. Now comes the hard part, reading, deleting, editing, plotting, rewriting, reading, re-editing etc. There is a little voice inside saying 'make time, make time...' LOL.

Glad to see there's a new installment, Moonglum.
How's the editing going on the story as a whole?

Glad to see there's a new installment, Moonglum. How's the editing going on the story as a whole? Thank you Phalon. It's going very slowly. I'm about a third of the way through taking out references to other peoples characters. Then it's all down to editing and rewriting. I did have to laugh though when I read it again from the beginning. All those howlers. Things written twice, plot points that reversed themselves for no reason or went nowhere. I can hear my old english teacher saying "must do better next time."

HA! I bet! That's the thing about writing with other people - it's fun, but there's a lot of curve balls when you're trying to incorporate someone else's plot into your own. That, of course, is why the subtitle of the story was "Whoosher We Had a Plot"!

Yes she does seem to have suffered a lot in the last couple of years. Still, I never did like 'happy ever after' stories.
