No quotes I'm afraid, but seeing as how Stepper has posted it in here I'd just like to wish everyone a Happy New Year as well, think we can reasonably expect it to be better then the one just passed (fingers crossed)
Well, Katina, that's a quote that bears repeating! Happy New Year, and let it be better than the one just that's just passed!
“‘I don’t want a whole dessert; let’s just get two spoons.’ —Former friends of mine.” Unknown.
“Sometimes I am amazed that my wife and I created two human beings from scratch yet struggle to assemble the most basic of IKEA cabinets.” Unknown

'A new year...a fresh clean start!'
'It's like having a big, white piece of paper to draw on!'
'A day full of possibilities! It's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy. Let's go exploring!'" ~ from the last strip of the comic "Calvin and Hobbes" by Bill Watterson, 25 years ago.
Dang, 25 years ago! Oh, how I loved Calvin and Hobbes! Here's the last strip in its entirety and a nice article about the little boy, his tiger, and their creator:
