Well, Katina, that's a quote that bears repeating! Happy New Year, and let it be better than the one just that's just passed! Too funny, Moonglum! Stepper, I'm embarrassed to admit I did not get that until hours after I read it, when it suddenly came to me out of the blue, while I was shoveling snow. Speaking of comics....It was the most gorgeous kind of winter morning here, with every tree branch lined in snow, and a fresh blanket of it on the ground. It was this kind of morning: " 'Everything familiar has disappeared! The world looks brand-new!
'A new year...a fresh clean start!'
'It's like having a big, white piece of paper to draw on!'
'A day full of possibilities! It's a magical world, Hobbes, ol' buddy. Let's go exploring!'" ~ from the last strip of the comic "Calvin and Hobbes" by Bill Watterson, 25 years ago. Dang, 25 years ago! Oh, how I loved Calvin and Hobbes! Here's the last strip in its entirety and a nice article about the little boy, his tiger, and their creator: www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2020/12/31/calvin-hobbes-bill-watterson/?utm_source=pocket-newtab
