Oh! I can't wait!!!!
And I won't even say a word that the smoke shifter with hot dog attachment thing-a-ma-bob is left-handed and not right.

Herself the Elf has one gift in the goodie bag this year. It's addressed: To All My Wonderful Whoosh Friends in hopes your Christmas is all sparkly and bright. P.S. It's the magic kind. It's there when you want it, and when you don't, it's gone with the snap of your fingers. Merry Christmas, Everyone!

I should have known Phalon would beat me to this. I’ve been looking for the right gift and only recently decided on something. One for each of us! A place to relax and enjoy…well, you’ll see. Merry Everything And Happy Always A Second Gift for Phalon…. last year I promised to remember this.

Thank you for the gifts, my friends! That must be magic Christmas snow, Gams - the kind that sticks to the countryside, but NOT to roads or airplanes. That's holiday magic! And ooooo, Step - that home theater is fantastic! Everything a film lover dreams of - except for Clark Gable sitting beside me, holding my popcorn. As long as we're dreaming, dream big! Here's my gift for you all. I don't have near enough tape and wrapping paper to cover this, I'm afraid. So, scroll down for your gift..... This is a magic Christmas dinner - all your favorite foods AND favorite people to dine with, but no dirty dishes, no indigestion, and no unwanted leftovers. But a couple of extra turkey legs for Step, and extra turkey breast for sandwiches later. *sigh* Perfect! I wish you all a lovely holiday, spent with those you love best. I'll be thinking of you, my friends!

Oooh Phalon, It's Snowing! Bummed me out at first, but then I realized how many times I wanted it to snow on Christmas Eve and stay over for Christmas. So now singing: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
My porch is covered, it's dumping it pretty good now.

Congratulations on the Christmas Eve snow! We got rain - the first in months - so it was just as welcome as your snow. With this kind of luck I need to go play the lottery tonight - maybe I'll get lucky there too.

Nice Kat! But if I manage to get there, it's going to take at least a week before I can even think about heading home.

It is magic Christmas snow, Siren...but don't worry if the magic goes just a little awry and it piles up on the bottom of the driveway. I now have my magic Christmas snow-blower to make hot dogs with, so no one will go hungry if they're snowed in. (Thanks, Stepper!)
Speaking of hungry....look at that feast!!! Thanks, Siren. It's heavenly....and since it's magic, I can have seconds of all my favorite things without having to worry about calories, yes? Magic dinners must be devoid of calories, I'm thinking.
Just a break in the festivities here. Is it nap-time yet? Up way too late last night, and up way, way too early this morning. It's gotta be nap-time by now.
<grabs a snugly turkey leg to curl up with in the corner of the entertainment center>
Somebody wake me up when we get to that beautiful land Down Under. Gorgeous, Katina.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful celebration.

The light on the blower isn't so you can see at night - it's so you can keep a eye on you hot dogs! This is what it looks like with the dog attachments. Hot Dog Attachments!! I'm not sure how it works since we don't need snow blowers here, but I'm sure one of you more experienced snow bunnies can explain. <Eyes Phalon suspiciously and goes back to count legs again.>

Oh goodness, kat - how heavenly! Thank you for the invitation. But I need to work on my base tan a bit first.
I hope the holiday has been great for you all. My family gathered at my mom's house yesterday evening - many of the cousins and their grown children, including one young cousin I haven't seen in years. It was wonderful. Lots of food and chattering and laughter - my idea of a good time.
Today, I'm relaxing at my house, and straightening things up a bit. I wish every Christmas included a four-day weekend. It was fabulous!

Can't argue with that Siren - it was nice having the extended time off. I didn't get four days, but it was still nice being off.

I picked individual gifts but we didn't seem to be doing that this year so I picked a generic one for all of us. I hope you like this one...I would if I could my friends. Merry Everything And Happy Always

I'm right there with you, Katina - my Mom's Purse is packed and ready to go (sometimes, I swear it seems as big as a suitcase and just as heavy).
How very thoughtful of you, Stepper! Thanks!
Oooo, can we pretend we're pirates and make late night pillaging attacks on the ship's galley?
As if I need any more food after Christmas dinner; I think I'm set for a month.
Hope you all had a very nice Christmas.

Oooo, can we pretend we're pirates and make late night pillaging attacks on the ship's galley? I'm already working out the shortest route! Or maybe we could convince them we rented the galley for ourselves! To be honest, I've heard they have other forms of shipboard entertainment - lesser forms of course - but something to do between engorgements - or is it dinner engagements? I get those confused.

Thanks, Stepper!
I thought about bringing this thread up earlier this month, but things got so hectic here at home, it was one of the many things I never got around to doing. How thoughtful of you to take the time to pick out gifts for everyone. A great big hug, and Merry Christmas to you!
The same for everyone else too - Merry Christmas, and peace, love and hugs for the New Year!

And thought I've missed you by a few days, Kat, let me say I hope your Christmas was bountiful in all that pleases you. Peace, happiness, and good health to you in 2013, old friend! Thanks very much Siren, and yep it was a good Christmas. Won't ask how your's was because I see in the winter thread you described it as excellent, and with snow as well. Did I miss your description of Xmas dinner in another thread somewhere, always love your food posts, so good I can almost smell the tucker. All the very best for you as well in the coming year my friend. Holy cow! Thanks! And I didn't get you anything! Hey Kat! Wanna trade? Now ya know I love you to bits Scrapp' and would do anything for you, but peanut butter Xmas trees for the delectable Uma, well a mans gotta draw the line somewhere you understand.

Ol' Step really picked the perfect gift, didn't he, Kat? Hee hee!
Thank you for the good wishes. I have high hopes for 2013.
Christmas dinner? I'll be happy to tell you about it - roast turkey with dressing (stuffing), honey-glazed, spiral-sliced ham, broccoli-cheese-rice casserole, au gratin potatoes, mashed taters and gravy, home-canned green beans, pasta salad, sweet potatoes with brown sugar glaze and marshmallows, and a corn/yellow squash/onion stir-fry. For dessert, there were pies: chocolate, pecan, and pumpkin, and a cinnamon-pecan cake. It's kind of our standard holiday dinner menu. And the table nearly groans from all the food. We do it up right!

Right that does it, I'm inviting myself over to your place for Xmas dinner next year Siren. I don't eat a heck of a lot, I'm quiet and have good table manners (well fairly good anyway) so I'm sure I won't disgrace myself.
