Are xengab and Eirene the new landladies of Cyrene's? You two seem to be having a very long chat all by yourselves! How y'all doing? I've been away for ages but now I'm back into my regular work schedule I'll have time to post again!

Morning Dixie. Glad to see you survived your hectic schedule of the last month or so. Nice you see your smiling face in here again.
Eirene - I tried that new sensor coffee pot thing. Works great! Now how about a thing that automatically scrape the snow and ice off the car in the morning without me having to leave the warmth of the house? Oh, wait....I've got one of those. Thanks, Hubs!
Little Xena is home sick from school today....not real sick, just enough to be a disruption to the classroom with a constant hacking cough from congestion. Poor kid - been home cooped up for a 3 days weekend because there was no school yesterday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr's birthday. Poor me...was kind of looking forward to a few hours to myself after a 3 day weekend with kids and Hubs home.
A whopping 8 degrees Farenheit outside now. Argh! Seems I'll be stuck inside forever!
Eroc....hurry back. Send some of your shining sun this way!

Yep Xengab. Kids are breeding grounds for all kinds of germs. When I was the Library Mom at LX's school, kind of made me cringe - all the runny noses and coughs...and why did they all insist on getting right in my face to ask questions? Uhm...probably because I'm pretty much the same height.
Enjoy the day.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all staying warm!
Phalon, thanks for the nudge. I was entering hibernation when I felt you jabbing at me. Eight degrees you say? I am afraid I can't offer you much comfort. Atlhough the sun is shining in the south, it is very cold. 12 degrees when I left for work this morning and the high today may reaching freezing. Much more for the rest of the week.
I think I need some Southern Comfort to warm these old bones. They creak as loud as the Tavern doors.
I have one dog and one of my cats go out during the day. When I opened the door this morning I got some rather disparaging looks from them. You know that old saying "if looks could kill"?
Well I will grab a cup of coffee to go and get back to work. I hope you all have a nice day.
