Afternoon guys - how's everybody's Saturday so far?
Got caught up in the Christmas decoration department in Amsterdam's biggest department store today - not the most relaxing of experiences. I hit a van while I was on my bike on the way back - only with my bag of Christmas decorations, but he was angry and got out to have a moan.
So, all in all, this weekend has been more stressful than the workdays so far!
I'll have a large hot chocolate, with marshmallows and all the extras on offer, if you please.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the Christmas spirit, rather than sinking into bah-humbugdom like me!

Hi Istevens! Good to have you here!
Eirene, cherban sounds delicious (although a bit cold for the weather). Did you ever try a pineapple, coconut and banana smoothie - heaven in a glass...

Good morning, lstevens. Anything you'd like is always available at Cyrene's. The beauty of a cyber-tavern, you know.
I'll take another coffee; no cream, no sugar, just piping hot. Would you care for hot chocolate? Marshmallows or whipped cream?

Hi! Is anyone joining me for breakfast this morning? I'm thinking pancakes, syrup, large capuccino and a smoothie (just for the health factor!)
Shame my real-world breakfast isn't as exciting as my cyber one (bowl of nasty Frosties - couldn't get Flakes so ended up with some weird cakey things) and a tepid cup of tea. Yum!...
Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend,
Enjoy your Monday!

Hi Eirene! What kind of roll? Hope you've got something sweet and chocolatey in there (Nutella?), and no cucumber and tomato!
Make mine a herbal tea. Need to unwind. Anyone want to join me for a Xena episode on the tavern big screen?

I have seen all the episodes, but it is still nice to see them on TV.Bravo is starting to show Xena again, sometime in December.Eirene, have you seen who has been sitting in my rocking chair and who has been using my foot stool? Anyway would you ladies like a drink?

Sorry Xengab, but I'vn't seen who was sitting in your rocking chair! You don't need to ask me 'bout watching a few Xena eps. with us. The first season in on air again here in Germany, but the other channel has showed only 5 or 6 eps. from season 6. At first they let keep you waiting for over 4 years to watch this season - then they make a shuffle with the eps. AND after that they changing the times so often and so quick, that no fan has had the chance to see the eps. Consequences was ( meant the TV channel ) that "nobody" wants to see Xena anymore ---> canceling Xena after a few eps. Now I hope, that the day is coming for a DVD set season 6. Maybe I must wait still a few years, but that doesn't matter anymore. Right? Right! Sweet dreams, I'll go into bed now!

Hey, what's playing on the big screen? <settles into her favorite chair to watch> Sheesh, it's been ages since I've seen a Xena episode....ever since O2 pulled it from their line-up, and even then it was only occasionally that I'd have a chance to watch. Looking forward to Santa bringing me a DVD player, instead of the VCR we now have - then I can set out to buy the boxed sets.
Popcorn, anyone?

Morning all - your roll fillings sound good Eirene (honey and sausage, yumm!)
What shall we watch today? How about we do everybody's all time top three? I haven't seen any of season 5, and have only seen 6 eps of season 4, but my favourites so far are 1) A day in the life 2) Old Ares had a Farm 3) Hooves and Harlots.
Actually, now that I write them down, I'm not sure they are my favourites. It's hard to know - they're all so good. Most of them I can watch over and over again. Didn't like the Titans much, though, nor Ulysses.
Phalon, I'll join you in some popcorn. Shall I get us all some beers/wine/cherban to settle down to it with?

Morning, everyone. Beer or wine this early in the morning? Think I'll pass and pour myself another cup of coffee instead. Different time-zone than you all, and wine, I'd imagine would be too unsettling this early. I'll leave a few bottles of my favorite though, (cheap), as I recieved enough of it at last week's Christmas party to last a winter of cold nights. Blackberry Merlot - best drank out of plastic cups. Goes perfect with popcorn.
Since everyone seems to have so many favorite Xena episodes, (mine are the Ring Trilogy, Ides of March, and Been There, Done That), why don't we start with a seasonal episode? "A Soltice Carol".
Snowy and cold outside here today, and Baby Phalon has come down with a cold, so I'll just stay inside, and maybe get those Christmas cards that I've been putting off writing, done.
Good day to all.

Good plan, Phalon. A Solstice Carol it is. And I'll gladly take some wine out of a plastic cup. Xengab - I've never seen IOM, so I'll look forward to it. I agree about BTDT and WFC, especially the latter (although, when I saw it, season 6 was the first season I'd seen all the way through, so it might be even better next time around - now that I actually know who Alti is!)
What time zone are you in Phalon? It was breakfast time when I suggested wine, but I was thinking about an evening showing on the big screen. Nice cup of tea and a cosy blanket are my faves for settling down to morning DVDs.
Enjoy your days, folks, and I'll see you in the tavern later on. Xengab, I'll have something warm and chocolatey, if you're buying!

Good Morning,
Think I'll have a cup of hot chocolate it's pretty cold outside. I today would be another good day for Xena marathon.
As far as my favorite episodes are concerened well that's easy let me just say that my favorites are always the ones with Kevin Smith as Ares.
