You're from scotland and you don't know what Haggis is made of? Allow me to fill you in so to speak......
Traditional Haggis 1 sheep's pluck (stomach bag) 2 lb.. dry oatmeal 1 lb. suet 1 lb. lamb's liver 2 1/2 cups stock 1 large chopped onion 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, Jamaica pepper and salt Boil liver and parboil the onion, then mince them together. Lightly brown the oatmeal. Mix all ingredients together. Fill the sheep's pluck with the mixture pressing it down to remove all the air, and sew up securely. Prick the haggis in several places so that it does not burst. Place haggis in boiling water and boil slowly for 4-5 hours. Serves approximately 12.
If the first ingrediant doesn't get to you then the liver part shouldn't bother you a bit. Not to mention the suet.....something we leave in trees for birds and squirrels in winter. YUCK! I'll definately pass thanks!
As for the pied piper over there we could always tie him to the mast with Dixie........wait I forgot, Mistress Shtick removed it accidentally. Maybe the masthead?

Masthead sounds good..... (grins evily...elastic band twitching) ...veeeeeeeerrrrrry good indeed... you wanna come with and sort him out? (sneeks off towards a very nervous looking piper...)

Hey why are you all so cruel towards this little piper boy. In the olden days the used bagpipe music to scare the enemy away(understandable ).He could come in handy in a skirmish, don't you think? Just a thought. For now he could help me in the galley. ;D xengab
