Speaking of being irritatingly cheerful....it flip-flops between that and being decidedly sullen; it changes like the weather - and it's going to be a long season, I'm afraid.....
"Now the mother of a teenager."
Sigh.

Hey Kat! ... Been reading the "Twilight" series. Those 4 books are huge. I lost sleep, I let my tummy growl for _hours_ before _finally_ forcing myself to put anything in there, I stayed off the internet, I _grudgingly_ put the books down to watch a few of my programs ... and YES! they _were_ that good. I seriously debated whether to get online just now, or start the series all over again. Just call me an alcoholic, and those books are my drug of choice. I'm craving them even now. If I disappear again, you'll know what I'm doing.
I think I'll hang on to those books so whenever I gain a little weight, I'll just start reading the series again to lose the pounds.

Back atcha Jox, glad to see it was something enjoyable keeping you away and not computer trouble or some such, it's unusual to see you missing for a day let alone several. All I can say is you're a voracious reader, and it must have been a doozie of a series to keep you so engrossed that you almost starved yourself. Just Googled em up and I'm pretty sure I saw them in a bookstore just the other day [ or it may have been Target ] I remember the distinctive covers.

Any vacation plans, Gams?
Here's my latest entry: "Waiting for payday. Lots of sandwiches."

Just remember, Siren....
"Sandwiches are good; better than Ramen!"
And yes, we do have vacation plans! All packed and ready to go later this morning - just waiting for LX and her friend, (LX and BP are each taking a friend), to finish their second hour math test. Then we are hitting the road, going up-north to a small town where we've rented a house in the woods, on a lake. Five days of biking, kayaking, roller-skiing, fishing, and hanging around watching the autumn put on her colors.
Here's mine for the day:
I'm soooooo looking forward to this!!!!!
